  1. Hello fellow GUSers,
  2.  
  3. the mission, if you accept it, is to install the AIL drivers into 
  4. Master of Orion. Simply copy this updated SNDDRV.GUS over SNDDRV.LBX
  5. and use the install program with the -S option like this:
  6.  
  7. C:MPS\ORION> INSTALL -S
  8.  
  9. Choose MT-32 for music, with MUSIC IRQ = GUS MIDI IRQ, ADDRESS = irrelevant?
  10. Choose SB for digital effects, with address, IRQ and DRQ matching the GUS
  11.  
  12. Do not forget to load ULTRAMID before or the program will bomb out
  13.  
  14. ORION USES PATCH CACHING, DO NOT USE ULTRAMID -C
  15.  
  16. This SNDDRV.GUS contains only GUS drivers, I recommend you rename the 
  17. original SNDDRV.LBX if you change your mind.

  19.     As usual, Jim, if this file or one of the included files gets bad or
  20. killed, the author will deny any responsibility... This README.1ST will 
  21. self-destruct in 5 sec ( just kiddin' :-) )
